Lodge Rooms and Chalets

The lodge rooms connect to the bar and pool via wooden walkways. They have air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower. The chalets include catering facilities. Guests booking the self-catering chalet can pre-book dinner at an additional cost. Room types include Standard Twin, Standard Double, Two-Bedroom Self-catering Chalet, and Glampacking (Impala Lodge).

Restaurant, Bar, and BBQ

The on-site restaurant serves breakfast (R185 per person) and dinner. The bar offers drinks and snacks. Guests can use the BBQ facilities outside each chalet. Bush babies are fed at the restaurant in the evening. Special diet menus and wine/champagne are available.

Pool, Trails, and Game Drives

The outdoor swimming pool has sun loungers and a shallow end. The Nyala trail offers walks where you may see giraffe, zebra, and antelope. Game drives and game walks can be arranged for an extra cost. The property also has a viewing deck overlooking a water hole. Nearby attractions include DumaZulu Cultural Village and Cheetah park.

Bordering National Park in Hluhluwe

The lodge borders the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park and is a short drive from Hluhluwe Airport (7 km) and the Umfolozi Game Reserve. Nearby restaurants include Steers, Debonairs Pizza, and Mugg & Bean. The Bushlands train station is 4 km away. Access is via gravel roads.
